Store Policies Your Statutory rights are not affected by any of the following store policies. Ordering Online Our online ordering system is safe and 100% secure. No credit card information is compromised during interactions with our website. To place an order, simply add items to the basket and follow the step-by-step instructions that will guide you through the process to complete the order. We encourage you to feel comfortable using your credit card to conduct commerce on our site. As soon as an order is placed, your card details are destroyed in an untraceable format. If you wish, you may also send us a bank transfer or personal cheque. Please note that payment by these methods may delay your order as we must wait for your funds to clear before we ship any goods. We do not store any card details on file. Please allow an additional 7-10 business days for shipping of your goods if paid by personal cheque. To order by cheque, just print the order form with your shopping cart contents from the order confirmation page and complete the necessary fields, then post the form to the address indicated. When you place an order with us (Kitchen Surplus) you are making an offer to buy goods, and accept our terms of sale. We will send you confirmation via email that we have received this request. We will then check the price and availability of the goods. Once we have completed this, we will contact you separately via email to confirm that we have accepted your order, , and a contract will be made between the "customer" and “kitchen-surplus.co.uk” In the unlikely event that there is a pricing mistake, or that the goods are no longer available, we will advise you of this. You will not receive a VAT invoice confirming acceptance of your order, and there will be no contract between us. Return / Refund Policy We must be advised of any returns within 7 working days of the goods being delivered. All items must be returned in an unused condition. Returns must be supplied with their original box. Once we have received an item back, we will refund the full purchase price within 30 days. Delivery charges will only be refunded if either the goods supplied are faulty or were listed incorrectly by us. Please contact us via electronic mail if you wish to return any goods. Delivery Information The delivery price stated is for UK Mainland only and varies on a product by product basis. For Ireland, Northern Ireland, Highlands, Islands and Europe, please click here for delivery charges. We ship all items within 48 hours, unless stated otherwise. Items paid by either postal order or cheque will be dispatched as soon as the payment has been received and/or clears. General delivery information for medium/large sized items (excluding worktops) : * £10.00 - Next Working Day Transit * UK Mainland Only Please check the condition of the items before signing for them. If any of the items appear to be damaged, make sure that they are signed for as damaged. Please note that we are unable to accept any liability for goods that are not signed for correctly. Please Note - To coincide with our claims process, all damage must be reported via email within 24 hours of receipt of the items. Prices Goods are charged at the price shown on the product pages on the date the customer places the order and are inclusive of VAT. Prices are correct at time of publication. Errors and omissions are excepted. Orders will be processed at our published prices, otherwise, in the case of any unexpected change in price, you will be informed and asked if you wish to reconsider your order before proceeding. Complaints If we should receive a complaint about any part of our service, by phone,fax,e-mail or letter,then it will be dealt with promptly. We will reply within 2/3 working days. The complaint will then be dealt with confidentially and effectively. |
